With the global prevalence of obesity in the adult and children population increasing dramatically over the past decade, obesity prevention policies are a now priority for many governments and intergovernmental agencies. As part of the STOP project, Lobstein et al. conducted a narrative review for three obesity prevention policies to determine how these policies influence three contextual factors.
Overall, the review showed that the selected policies to tackle obesogenic environments are equitable, acceptable, and cheap to implement.
